Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak, the former Professor of IIM, who discovered the finest management lessons in Lagaan has established, along with his team, the dream management Gurukul ASBM to create an IIM out of a private b-school. ASBM, his dream child modeled after the very best b-schools in the world, has become a hallmark of management education in India. ASBM, Bhubaneswar, has already proved its mettle by being adjudged by Deccan Herald as one of the top ten b-schools of the country 2008, It has also earned the B-School Leadership Award, 2008 instituted by the Asia Brand Congress. ASBM has set up its second campus at Hyderabad in 2009 to further the tradition of excellence achieved at Bhubaneswar.
