The candidate should have passed qualifying examination equivalent to PUC or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional and English as one of the main study language with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and should have also passed in English language .The candidate should also have secured not less than 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the JSSU UGET-2014 entrance test .In case of SC/ST category-I and OBC category candidates they should have secured 40% marks in both qualifying examination and entrance test .
Age : The candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS course. ( 31.12.2014 ).
Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. PUC – II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered to appear for JSSU UGET 2014, However it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the HSC / 10+2 / PUC marks card copy is sent to the University specifying the TAT No. ( Test Admission Ticket Number ) on or before 07.06.2014, failing which, the tie in the rank will be declared on the basis of the University rules, which shall be binding on the candidate.
