Entrance Test Details

Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre established in 1996, received recognition of the Medical Council of India ( MCI ), for the award of MBBS degree from its very first batch. The Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth comprising of Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, has been accorded the status of University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, vide Notification No. F. 9-39/2001-U.3 dated 11th Jan. 2003 of the Government of India.

All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test AIPGMET 2012 will be conducted for admissions to various Post Graduate Medical Courses under D.Y. Paul Medical College Kolhapur, a constituent college of D.Y. Patil Education Society Deemed University.

AlPGMET Exam 2012 will be on 9th February, 2012 ( Thursday ) from 12.00 noon to 3.30 pm.

Eligiblity

  • The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate / valid passport shall constitute proof of nationality.
  • The candidate must have passed M.B.B.S Examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained final registration either from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council or concerned Slate Medical Council after completion of one year rotating internship training.
  • The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Stale Medical Council on or before 15th April, 2012 can also appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal / Dean of the College regarding the likely date of completion of rotating internship training failing which his application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.

    Without late Fee : 30th January, 2012.
    With late Fee : 05th February, 2012.

How To Apply
All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test Fee is Rs 2000/-. The fee is playable by demand draft drawn in favour of “Registrar. D.Y. Patil Education Society Deemed University” drawn on a nationalized / schedule bank, payble at Kolhapur. The Candidate should write his / her name and address on the reverse side of the demand draft.

The last date for receipt of completed AIPGMET application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the University Office is 30th January, 2012 upto 5 P.M. ( With late fee of Rupee 1000/-upto 5th February, 2012 ). It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his / her application reaches the office of the University within the specified time and date.

AIPGMET application received after the due dale or without entrance test fee / supporting documents shall be rejected and such candidate shall not be allowed to appear for the Entrance Test. The university will not be responsible for non – receipt of application within the specified lime and dale due to postal or courier service delays.

Hall Ticket

  • Hall Tickets Carrying photograph of the candidates shall be issued to the candidates who are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
  • The candidates will have to collect Hall Tickets from the Office of the University on 8th February, 2012 & 9th February, 2012.
  • AIPGMET hall ticket must be presented in the Examination Hall far verification of candidate’s identity when instructed by the invigilator to do so and also at the time of counselling and admission.
  • All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test hall ticket is not transferable.
