Entrance Test Details

IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Important Dates

The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form: December 08, 2011

Online Admit Cards:
From November 15, 2011 onwards at www.ibsat.org (No hard copies will be mailed)

IBSAT Test Date:  December 24, 2011 (Saturday) 02.30 pm – 04.30 pm

Reporting Time: 01.30 pm at Test Center.

Selection Process : February 2012

Interviews will be conducted in :  March, 2012.

Eligiblity


For MBA Admissions:
  • Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
  • Final year students awaiting results can also apply.
  • Admission is based on IBSAT 2011 and Interview. GMAT® and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted. IBSAT 2011 will be conducted on December 24, 2011 at various Test Centers all over India. Results for IBSAT 2011 will be declared on January 23, 2012. Selection briefings will be organized in 30 cities during February, 2012. Interviews will be conducted in March, 2012.

For Ph.D. Admissions:

  • Post-graduation in any management subject with minimum 60% marks

OR

  • Graduation in any subject with minimum 50% marks and professional qualification like CA/CWA/CS.
  • The admission is based on IBSAT 2011 scores. GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also considered. Briefing sessions for candidates selected in this process will be held at 30 cities in February 2012. Final interviews will be held at Hyderabad in March 2012.
Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31, 2012. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education ( on 10 +2 +3 or 10 +2 +4 basis ). Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one time sitting basis or on a 2 year basis are not eligible.

IBSAT Online Application Form 2011 :

Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form of ICFAI MBA Entrance Exam 2011 available at IBSAT Website www.ibsat.org and make payment of

1,200/- towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card ( Visa / MasterCard / Citibank Card ) through secure internet payment gateway. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form of ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test 2011 from IBSAT Website www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of  1,200/- towards the cost DD in favor of “IUCF A/c IBS” payable at Hyderabad. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.
