Eligiblity

Eligibility for NCHMCT JEE 2012

I. NCHMCT JEE 2012 Minimum Qualification :

  •     A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study ( core / elective / functional ) in the qualifying examination.
  •     Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2012 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination ( 10+2 or its equivalent ) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30th September, 2012.
  •     The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates / documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his / her admission will stand cancelled.

II. List of approved qualifying examinations for Indian Students :

  •     Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized
  •     Central / State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
  •     Intermediate or two – year Pre – University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University.
  •     General Certificate Education ( GCE ) Examination ( London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka ) at the Advanced ( A ) level.
  •     High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
  •     Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
  •     H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
  •     Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
  • III. NCHMCT 2012 Age Limit :
  •     For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2012. Candidates born on or after 01st July, 1990 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01st July, 2012. That is SC / ST candidates born on or after 01st July, 1987 are eligible.
  •     Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he  / she belongs to i.e. General / SC / ST / OBC. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / Pre – University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of counselling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counselling/admission.

IV. NCHMCT 2012 Physical Fitness :

All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given in this Brochure at the time of admission.

V. NCHMCT Reservation of Seats 2012 :

    As per Government of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them. Benefit of reservation shall be given only to those classes / castes / tribes which are in the respective Central List published by the Government of India.

How To Apply

Payment through Credit Card / Debit Card ( Approved by Master / Visa ) :

        You have to provide certain details from the Card at the time of filling online NCHMCT JEE application. Therefore, you must have the Card ready before filling up the NCHMCT JEE Application Form. You are required to pay a fee of Rupee 900/- for General / OBC categories and 450 for SC  / ST  / PD categories.

In case of any Payment Error :

        Due to any network communication / connectivity problems, if your application form does not get materialise and the amount has been debited from your account, the same will be refunded back to your account after the reconcilation with Bank and declaration of the JEE 2012 result.
In Such cases candidates are advised to register again.

Fill Online NCHMCT JEE Application Form :

  • With the Credit Card ready, you can apply online application. You are to exercise sufficient care while furnishing the details.
  • After filling the form correctly, Click the button “Proceed Next”. The data filled by you will be displayed. In case you wish to change any information, click “Back to Edit Application Form” button. If there is no change in information, click “Pay Now!” button. Recheck before submitting online as no editing is possible after submission.
  • An auto – generated Application Number is allotted to you on successful submission of online NCHMCT JEE Application form and will appear on print version of the Application Form.
  • Before taking the print out, save the print version of application form using ‘SAVE AS’ function in the ‘FILE’ menu of the window.
  • After taking the print out, affix your passport size photograph & put your signature in the space provided on the print version of application.
  •  For future reference, keep photocopy of this application form.
  • Despatching of duly completed printout of Application Form
  •  Send the print out of the filled online JEE 2012 Application Form with auto – generated Application No. with your photograph affixed and duly signed to the following address :

NCHMCT JEE Admit Card 2012 :

    NCHMCT JEE Admit Card to be downloaded from www.nchmct.org from 19th April, 2012
    The candidate shall have to download the admit card ( in duplicate ) from 19th April, 2012 onward. Candidate should carefully check the Admit Card for all the entries made therein. In case of any discrepancy, it should immediately be brought to the notice of the JEE CELL in the Council in writing through Email : jeenchm@gmail.com or through Fax at 0120 – 2402819.
    Affix photographs on the both the copies of downloaded admit cards and have the same attested by Gazetted Officer / Head of Institution last attended / Bank Manager of scheduled Bank / Area Post Master. Submit both the NCHMCT JEE admit cards at the written test centre and obtain back one copy of admit card duly signed by the invigilator at the written test centre as a
    proof of having appeared for the test. Preserve this copy of admit card for presentation at the time of NCHMCT JEE counselling.
